This list is not complete. But what follows
is the beginnings of a list which, we hope, will
eventually identify every feature
film Peter Diamond worked upon.
Peter's roles were many and varied. He
was the fight co-ordinator or arranger on a host
of these productions, certainly. But
equally, he might have only made the
very briefest of
appearances on set, stepping in for a day-or-two
to double for one of the actors, or to
take part in an action sequence arranged
by a colleague. That's why he racked up all
those credits, especially in the early
years of his career, when films were often shot
back-to-back in quick succession.
Establishing the detail from those
days is tricky. So much of Peter's work went
uncredited. The brief drum rolls at the
end of all those Hammer and Amicus productions
are a world away from modern
Hollywood, where even the assistant's assistant now
gets an on-screen nod, and sadly, there
are fewer and fewer people still around from
those days to give us provenance. So
