In this spoof spy film, Secret Agent
Charles Vine attempts to retrieve a
top-secret new alloy called
"Spurium"....
This was the second outing for
Charles Vine
following his adventures in LICENSED TO
KILL (1965).
The spoof trilogy was completed with
SOMEBODY'S STOLEN OUR RUSSIAN
SPY (1967)
The producers were granted special
permission to film at Biggin Hill airfield.
Peter was employed as the stunt arranger
on the film.

Peter appears in the shoot-out at the
mortuary. He plays an RAF GUARD.
The Mortician (Sid James) inadvertently
lets in two sets of uniformed guards.
The legitimate guards then battle with
the pretenders, until all are felled.
And Peter pops up halfway through the
fight, filling the frame as he takes a
fatal bullet!

Peter first met director John Gilling on
the set of tv's THE SAINT. Gilling
subsequently directed several
classic Hammer films, and he brought
Peter onboard to arrange the action:
